For several months, I have had my eye on a new restaurant in The Village of West Greenville, but with it being on the opposite side of town from the rest of my life and limited business hours, I just had not had the time to check this place out, until today. Today, I decided to go and check this place out for lunch.
GB&D, also known as Golden, Brown, and Delicious is located in The Village of West Greenville and is a wonderful little lunch spot. With exposed wood beams in the ceiling and exposed brick walls, GB&D really fits in with the cool factor The Village is becoming known for. GB&D only offers lunch at the moment, from 1130 until 2, Tuesday through Saturday, but you can also taste some their GB&D-ness by way of doughnuts, next door at The Village Grind.
GB&D has a very small menu that features a few items that are just seasonal with the burger and chicken and waffles as menu favorites.
After a debate with myself, I decided I needed the burger- 100% grass-fed beef, an in-house made brioche bun, cheese, dill pickle, burger sauce with locally farmed lettuce tomato and onions with Golden Brown & Delicious fries (yes, the were really all 3- golden, brown and delicious).
If you’re in need of a new lunch spot, this is a must try!!
